FAIRFAX, Va. – The No. 14 Lewis University men’s volleyball team bounced back against Mount Olive, 3-0, on the final day of the DC Challenge Saurday.

SET BREAKDOWN
FIRST SET: Lewis 25, Mount Olive 21
- Both teams each traded nine points each to make it 9-all early in the first set.
- Mount Olive responded with three straight points then Lewis got three straight of their own.
- The Trojans led 15-14 midway through the opening set then the Flyers recorded three in a row to make it 17-15.
- Michael Sack (Oak Lawn, Ill./St. Laurence) won the opening set for Lewis after recording a kill with a score of 25-21.
SECOND SET: Lewis 25, Mount Olive 14
- Lewis and Mount Olive both each scored four points before Lewis scored three straight which was capped off by a kill from John Davis (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central).
- The Trojans made it as close as 9-6 Flyers but Lewis scored seven unanswered which was started by a kill from Sack then Prayer recorded a service ace and kill.
- Lewis was able to pull away throughout the second set after kills from Nathan DeGraaf (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley HS) and Max Roquet (Johnston, Iowa/Johnston).
