2022 AVCA Week 9 poll: Oshkosh rises to #8

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, the lone NCAA Division III unbeaten, remains the top-ranked team in the AVCA Week 9 poll. The Athenas are followed by No. 2 Juniata, No. 3 Trinity (Texas), No. 4 Calvin and No. 5 Northwestern.

Other Region VIII and Region IX teams in the Week 9 top 25: No. 8 Wisconsin-Oshkosh; No. 9 Washington-St. Louis; No. 12 Wisconsin-Whitewater; No. 14 Gustavus Adolphus; No. 15 Wisconsin-Stevens Point; No. 17 Wisconsin-Eau Claire; No. 18 Transylvania; No. 21 Coe.

Wisconsin-Oshkosh is back in the top 10 for the first time since the 2010 Week 7 poll.

Region VIII/IX teams receiving votes this week: Augsburg; Chicago; Cornell; Millikin; Bethel. Augsburg, ranked 25th last week, exited the Week 9 poll in favor of Ithaca.

My Week 9 top 10 had Wittenberg and Wisconsin-Whitewater instead of the AVCA’s Emory and Berry.
