2024 AVCA Week 2 poll: WIAC’s UWW, UWO in top 6

Juniata and Hope, who will meet this weekend in a rematch of last year’s title match, remain the top two teams, respectively, in the AVCA Week 2 poll. Juniata, the reigning champ, will put its newly minted DIII-record 67-match winning streak on the line at Hope on Sept. 13.

No. 3 Johns Hopkins, No. 4 Wisconsin-Whitewater, No. 5 Emory, No. 6 Wisconsin-Oshkosh, No. 7 NYU, No. 8 La Verne, No. 9 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and MIT round out the top 10. UW-Oshkosh and Otterbein (receiving votes) will also play at the Hope tournament this weekend.

Other Region VIII/IX programs in the Week 2 top 25: No. 12 Gustavus Adolphus; No. 13 Northwestern; No. 14 Washington-St. Louis; No. 15 North Park; No. 16 Millikin; No. 21 Cornell; No. 15 Transylvania.

Region VIII/IX teams also receiving votes this week: Wisconsin-Platteville; Chicago; Wisconsin-Stevens Point; Hanover; Wisconsin-Eau Claire; Coe; Carthage; Mount St. Joseph.
