LAMONI – Graceland University Women’s Volleyball head coach Stew McDole has recently announced the signing of Rachel Drake.

Coach McDole commented, “We are excited to have Rachel join us.  She comes from a winning East Mills Iowa High School program with a strong tradition.  The continuous word from her fans is “She hits the ball hard”.  Bottom line she is a physical player who ends rallies.  She is a terminator.  It is going to be fun to watch her emerge on the college scene.”

Hailing from Emerson, Iowa, Rachel is currently a senior at East Mills High School.  Outside of her high school team, Rachel has also played for the Pink Panthers AAU and the Banzai Volleyball Club in Omaha, Nebraska.  She is the daughter of Marc and Kacy Davis.

The Graceland University Athletic Department and the women’s volleyball program are excited to have Rachel join the Yellowjackets for next year and are looking forward to watching her rise through the college ranks in her collegiate career.
