Enright Captures AAC Player of the Week Honors

Junior volleyball player Mary Ellen Enright captured Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors, the league announced on Monday.

The Cumming, Ga. native had a huge week for the Golden Tigers volleyball team, including a career-high 26 kills and 20 digs in a five-set victory over Reinhardt (Ga.) University. The outside hitter continued her torrid week with 21 kills and 17 digs in a win over Union and followed that up with 24 kills in a rout of Johnson University. 

Currently, Enright is tops in total kills (404) and tied for first in kills per set (3.64) among AAC attackers. Additionally, the squad is on a seven-game winning streak. 

This is the first AAC Player of the Week award for Enright.
