The Brenau University volleyball team and head coach Michael Carter announce the signing of Sarah Wages to the 2021-22 signing class.
Wages, the daughter of Christy and Josh Wages, is a student-athlete from North Oconee High School in Bogart, Ga. While at North Oconee, she was a three-year starter and led her team to three consecutive state playoff appearances. Wages also competed with VolleyPerformance North club for two seasons.
When asked about her commitment to Brenau, Wages said, “I am thankful for the opportunity to play with such a great group of girls and for Coach Mike (Carter). I look forward to being part of the Golden Tiger volleyball family where I know the team is going to work hard to compete for the conference championship. I can’t wait to get to campus and get to work!”
Wages, who plans on majoring in elementary education, is the first signee for the volleyball team for 2022-23.
