Dual Sport Standout Commits to Volleyball and Track

The Brenau University volleyball team and track and field team both announce the signing of Laila Reed to the 2021-22 signing class.

Reed, the daughter of Akeia and Morris Reed, is a student-athlete from Plymouth High School in Canton, MI. While at Plymouth, she was a dual sport athlete that was a two-time state qualifier in track and field and selected as the volleyball team’s best offensive player. 

When asked about her commitment to Brenau, Reed said, “I’m super excited to start this experience of college athletics. I hope to make life long bonds, learn new skills and win games!”

Reed plans on majoring in interior design while at Brenau.
