BIRMINGHAM – The Southeastern Conference announced its broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2022 soccer and volleyball seasons Friday. The Alabama soccer team will be featured three times on the ESPN family of networks and the volleyball team will appear five times.
In addition to the Crimson Tide’s eight combined televised appearances, all home games and select road contests will be streamed online through the SEC Network+. Video streaming links will be posted on the respective sport’s schedule pages on RollTide.com prior to competition and will be available on WatchESPN.com and the ESPN app.
Alabama soccer makes its SEC Network debut Thursday, Sept. 15 as the team hosts South Carolina at 6 p.m. CT. A month later, the Tide welcomes Arkansas to Tuscaloosa for its second game on the SEC Network on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. CT. Alabama’s final televised regular season game on the SEC Network will be Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m. CT as the Tide concludes conference play at Auburn.
In addition to the regular season, SEC Network will carry every round of the SEC Soccer Tournament from Pensacola, Fla., Oct. 31 – Nov. 6.
Alabama volleyball’s first televised contest comes against in-state rival Auburn Sunday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. CT on SEC Network. Twelve days later the Tide will travel to face Ole Miss on the SEC Network on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. CT. A midweek tilt against LSU on Wednesday Oct. 19 will air live on ESPNU at 8 p.m. CT before another televised matchup four days later against Georgia on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 11 a.m. CT on the SEC Network. Alabama’s final televised match will be Wednesday, Nov. 23 vs. Tennessee at 7 p.m. CT on the SEC Network.
