Kingsport, TN – The Bryan College Lady Lions traveled to Kingsport for the AAC Tournament. The took on Johnson University in the quartfinal of today’s match. Bryan took the first set but not without going back and forth with Johnson. The Lady Lions took set 1 with a score of 30-28. The Lions took set 2 with a score of 25-19. Bryan was only one set away from moving onto the next round but Johnson was not out of the fight yet. Johnson came out strong in the 3rd set quickly taking control. They would win set 3 with a score of 25-17 and force a set 4. Johnson was on fire in set 4 and would win with a score of 25-21 to tie things up and force a 5th and final set. Bryan would come back out and fight to the finish. The Lions delivered and took set 5 with a score of 15-10 and take the match 3-2. The Lady Lions will compete in the semifinals on Saturday November 12th at 12:30 PM but the opponent is to be determined.
