Muhlenberg junior Alyssa Faville received honorable mention on the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Region 5 team.
Previously named to the All-Centennial Conference first team, Faville leads the CC and is ranked 19th in Division III in digs per set (5.67). Her average is the second best all-time for a single season in program history, and her total of 522 digs is third best.
Faville recorded double digits in digs in all but three of the Mules’ 26 matches, with a high of 42 in a five-set win at Penn State Berks, and had at least 20 digs in 13 matches. She also led Muhlenberg with 47 service aces and was second with 74 assists.
Through two seasons, Faville has 947 career digs, good for 18th place on the Mules’ all-time list.
The first Muhlenberg libero named to the All-CC first team since 2009, Faville is the fifth different Mule, and first defensive player, to land on the AVCA all-region squad.
