Maranatha’s Bumpus repeats as NCCAA DII Player of the Year

Maranatha Baptist senior Mattie Bumpus was named NCCAA Division II Player of the Year for the second straight season. Bumpus was previously voted the 2022 NCCAA DII North Region Player of the Year.

MBU junior setter Emily Johnson joined Bumpus on the NCCAA DII All-America First Team. MBU’s Caitrin Kemlo, a senior opposite, was tabbed to the All-America Honorable Mention Team.

North Central (Minn.) sophomore middle Hailey Lerfald was selected to the All-America Second Team.
