Ohio State is set to face Tennessee State on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET after the 5 p.m. ET match between High Point and No. 6 seed USC wraps up. The winner of each match will advance to Saturday’s second-round match, which is slated for 6 p.m. ET.

“The NCAA Tournament is always an exciting time and with the strength of our entire schedule, our Buckeyes are ready for what’s ahead,” Head Coach Jen Flynn Oldenburg said. “We are fortunate to host this weekend and we know Covelli will be rocking!”

The Buckeyes concluded the regular season with a 19-9 overall record and a 15-5 Big Ten record to tie for third in the conference. Ohio State’s schedule included 15 matches against ranked opponents, 10 of which were against top-10 opponents. The Buckeyes beat top-10 opponents in three-consecutive matches for the first time in program history by earning victories at (then) No. 3 Louisville, No. 5 Georgia Tech and No. 10 BYU. Ohio State faced every team from the 2021 Elite Eight and notched eight ranked wins on the season.
