SEATTLE – The No. 13 Washington Husky Beach Volleyball team heads down to Los Angeles for a one day tournament to take on two top-20 teams before heading to the Pac-12 Championships.  The Huskies, who are currently on a 6-game win streak, will take on host No. 5 Loyola Marymount University and No. 20 Pepperdine. With the NCAA tournament in sight, this is a crucial weekend for Washington. If the Huskies have success this weekend, they  will be in a great situation heading into the Pac- 12 Championship and the post-season.

The Huskies will first take on the No. 20 Pepperdine Waves. Pepperdine is currently 16-10 on the season. The Waves have had notable wins against No. 11 Long Beach State earlier in the season and Cal Poly, who the Huskies lost to.

Coming off two tough losses to No. 1 UCLA and No. 3 USC, Loyola Marymount is eager for a win. LMU is 23-8 on the season and 5-0 in conference. The No. 5 host has notable wins against No. 10 Stanford, No. 7 Grand Canyon University, and No. 4 Florida State along with many other top-20 wins.

Both games will be played at LMU on Saturday April 21st.  LMU will also be hosting their senior day ceremony during this tournament.
