COLLEGE PARK, MD – The University of Maryland volleyball team will travel to Chicago on Wednesday morning to participate in the second annual Big Ten Volleyball Media Days at the Big Ten Network Headquarters.
For the events, Maryland will be represented by sixth-year head coach Adam Hughes, along with senior setter Sydney Dowler and senior outside hitter Sam Csire. Dowler will take part in her second media days event, while Csire will make her first appearance at the proceedings.
The Terps will be one of seven teams to partake in the second day of the media days activities, while the other seven other member schools will attend the media days on Tuesday.
Coverage of the event will air live on the Big Ten Network throughout the day. The Terps are scheduled to appear on the BTN Studio set from 10:25-10:45 a.m ET. Following that, Hughes, Csire and Dowler are scheduled for a press conference from 10:50-11:10 a.m ET, which will air on B1G+.
Maryland is set to report for the first practice of the fall on August 7. The Terps will open their 2023 slate with a tournament held in Miami, FL, starting with a showdown against FIU on Friday, Aug. 25 at 11 a.m.
