LOS ANGELES – The UCLA women’s volleyball team hosts Colorado and Utah in week two of Pac-12 Conference play at Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom this week. The Bruins (8-4, 0-2) play the Buffaloes (9-4, 1-1) Friday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. (PT) on the Pac-12 Network and the Utes (6-6, 1-1) Sunday, Oct. 1 at 12 p.m. (PT) on the UCLA Live Stream.

· UCLA is led by first-year head coach Alfee Reft who was announced as the program’s fourth head coach on Dec. 19, 2022.
· Reft will be making his home debut this week at Pauley Pavilion a week after helping the U.S. Women’s National Team edge past Germany to punch its ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
· Associate head coach Jen Malcom, the Bruins’ acting head coach, went 4-3 in Reft’s absence.
· The Bruins played all 10 of their non-conference matches on the road and flew approximately 10,800 miles through the air.
· UCLA is now 31-17 all-time in conference openers following its five-set loss to USC last week.
· UCLA finished the preseason with an 8-2 record.
· Outside hitter Iman Ndiaye leads UCLA in kills (163), kills per set (3.26), points (193.5) and points per set (3.87). Ndiaye has reached double-digit kills in 10 out of 12 matches this year and leads UCLA’s pin hitters with a .328 hitting percentage.
· Middle blocker Desiree Becker ranks second in the Pac-12 in total blocks (62) and seventh in blocks per set (1.24).
· Middle blocker Anna Dodson owns a team-high .363 hitting percentage and ranks fourth on the squad with 2.82 points per set.
· Libero Peyton Dueck stars in the Bruins’ back row with 176 digs, ranking fourth in the Pac-12 in that category.
· The Bruins operate in a 5-2 system with Ashley Mullen setting in the back row and Audrey Pak setting in the front row.
