With spooky season on the horizon, it’s time to look at what our readers can look forward to in the month of October. We’ve got some scary good coverage about some monster players and teams coming up that you won’t want to miss!
We start of the month with the final piece of coverage from the Nike Tournament of Champions Southwest, The All-Tournament Team selection. Over the weekend you can look forward to day by day coverage of the TOC SW, focusing on outstanding individual performances with our Supernovas and Stars.
After that, we’ll be releasing our Regional Roundups and Rankings, as well as a series of Positional articles about outstanding Middles, Setters, and Liberos.
The first is our ‘Big Blocks,‘ feature. This two-part article series will highlight those middles that put up monster blocking numbers at the net, who also have the motor to transition right into offense and score at will! Coaches, and only coaches, who wish to nominate a player from their team may do so now using our nomination form.
Further down the line, we’ll have our selection of Mid-Season Standouts, a listicle of those players that have made monumental strides close to the half-way point of high school season for most states.
Throughout the month we’ll have our weekly release of the Recent Commitments, and October’s edition of the Recruiting Class Rankings as well as our College Needs List and Classifieds, for those college programs still on the hunt for players.
We’ll finish the month with our National Power 50 Rankings, listing the top 50 teams in the country, as well as a Power 50 Profile of a handful of teams from the national rankings.
