INDIANAPOLIS — The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced that senior libero Ally Hickey (Granger, Ind./Penn) was named Molten GLVC Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts at the Midwest Volleyball Crossover Tournament this past weekend.
Hickey recorded 64 digs during the three matches, which was the most out of anyone in the tournament, while helping Lewis to a 3-0 record over the weekend. The Flyers defeated Grand Valley State 3-2 and swept Northwood 3-0 Friday (Oct. 13) then defeated No. 24 Walsh 3-1 Saturday (Oct. 14) to close out the weekend of play.
