Ducks Rally in the Fourth, Beat WSU in Top-10 Rematch

PULLMAN, Wash. — After trailing by as many as six points late in the fourth set, the Oregon volleyball team ended Friday’s match at No. 6 Washington State on a 5-0 run to secure the four-set victory. With the result, the Ducks improve to 18-4 overall with an 8-3 mark in Pac-12 play.
 
Gabby Gonzales led all players with 13 kills followed by Mimi Colyer and Kara McGhee with 11 each in the win. Hannah Pukis notched her 16th double-double of the year with 43 assists and 13 digs. Oregon was also aided by nine service blocks 13.0 total team blocks.
 
Individually, senior Karson Bacon recorded a career-high 10 blocks while libero Georgia Murphy picked up a match-high 18 digs.

Up Next: The Ducks are off to Seattle for a Sunday matchup with Washington. First serve is scheduled for 12 p.m. on ESPN. Between sets two and three of the UO-UW match, the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Committee will reveal its latest top-10 ranking. Oregon was seventh in the first reveal of the season (Sept. 23).
