Babcock Named ACC Freshman of the Week for Fifth Time

PITTSBURGH – Olivia Babcock has been named ACC Freshman of the Week for the fifth time this season. She is now second in program history for most weekly awards as a freshman behind graduate setter, Lexis Akeo, who has eight to her name.

Babcock impressed yet again, recording eight kills on a career-high .800 hitting percentage against Virginia Tech on Friday night. She also added three blocks, a dig and an assist. She followed that performance up with 14 kills, hitting .462 and notched three digs and two blocks against Wake Forest in the sweep.
