Fisher Announces 2024 Recruiting Class

PITTSBURGH – Head Coach Dan Fisher and Pitt Volleyball are excited to announce the addition of Ryla Jones, Mallorie Meyer and Kiana Dinn to the 2024 recruiting class. The trio hail from three different states and will look to make an impact next season.

“We’re really excited to announce these three signings, and we feel strongly that with this class we are going to able to continue to compete for ACC and National Championships,” says Fisher. “They will help us with our on-court success. In addition, they are great cultural fits and people that we are going to enjoy being around every day.” 

Ryla Jones | Fort Washington, MD | Flint Hill School | 6’2 | Middle Blocker | Metro American Volleyball Club

Jones is ranked No. 79 according to Prep Dig and is the No. 92 recruit in the nation per Prep Volleyball. She has enjoyed a successful high school and club career, propelling Flint Hill High School to back-to-back Virginia State HS Championships and back-to-back ISL Conference Championships. Jones was named First Team All-State in 2021 and 2022 and First Team ISL in 2021. Jones was also named to the Washington Post Second Team, Florida Girls High School AVCA All-American Watchlist and earned a spot on the Prep Volleyball Top 100 list.

A presence in the middle for Metro American Volleyball Club, Jones notched 2022 Under Armour Next Dallas Camp MVP honors, was named a Prep Volleyball 17U All-American, Capitol Hill Classic Best Blocker and Classic Prep Volleyball Top 100. Jones has also been consistent with USA Volleyball, being a Team USA National Team Development Program athlete for the last five years.
