The SUNY Cortland women’s volleyball team will be conducting a prospect clinic open to high school female athletes grades 10-12, and junior college players, on Saturday, April 13 from 1-4 p.m. at Corey Gymnasium in the Park Center on campus.
The cost of the clinic is $100 per person, which includes a t-shirt (adult sizing) for those who pre-register by April 4. Space is limited. Walk-up registrations will be allowed on the day of the clinic if space is available.
The clinic will be conducted by Cortland head coach Erin Glickert and the Red Dragon coaching staff. Check-in will run from 12:30-12:45 p.m.
The clinic will help players develop all-around and position specific skills and experience the high intensity collegiate training environment. The clinic begins with warm up and ball control work from 1-1:30 p.m., followed by positional skills from 1:30-2:15 p.m. and group training from 2:15-3 p.m. Competition will run from 3-3:45 p.m. (parents are welcome to watch), and an athlete Q&A will take place from 3:45-4 p.m.
Any questions can be directed to Coach Glickert at Erin.Glickert@cortland.edu or 607-753-4992.
Cortland finished the 2023 season with a 26-4 record. For the third straight year the Red Dragons won both the SUNYAC regular-season and tournament titles and advanced to the NCAA Division III tournament second round to tie for 17th place nationally.
