Mollymook welcomes back Beach Volleyball for a much-anticipated 10-day event featuring three competitions and engaging community events for all.
From Friday 23 February to Sunday 3 March, VolleyMook 2024 will play host to the Australian Beach Volleyball Tour, the Australian Junior Beach Volleyball Tour and the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Futures event.
History will be made as Mollymook and the south coast of Australia will hold an international Futures event for the first time ever.
The event is set to see world-class competition with a vibrant community watching on, creating an unmissable atmosphere that you won’t want to miss.
“We look forward to welcoming the world class VolleyMook event to our beautiful,” said Kristy Mayhew, Tourism & Economic Development Manager, Shoalhaven City Council.
“Shoalhaven City Council supports this event that attracts around 500 players and spectators each day of the 10 day tournament to the Mollymook region, helping to promote Shoalhaven as a sporting destination, and boosts the local economy.”
A full range of competitors will be taking the limelight throughout VolleyMook, from talented young athletes to experienced world-class players.
To continue the entertainment into the evenings, a ‘Movie Night Under the Stars’ and a ‘Live Entertainment & Food Truck Night’ will be put on by Volleyball Australia during the World Beach Pro Tour Futures event.
South Coast Volleyball Association will be running a barbecue and there will be activations from sponsors throughout the event.
Both the medal matches of the Australian Beach Volleyball Tour and the World Beach Pro Tour event will be streamed live on SBS Demand.
