Manama, Bahrain, July 30, 2024 – Pakistan cruised to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-11, 25-19) victory over Kuwait on Tuesday night to maintain their winning streak heading into the Top Eight round in the 15th Asian Men’s U18 Volleyball Championship at Isa Sport City Hall C here.
Having already secured their place amongst the elite teams in the next stage, the Pakistanis had a no-bearing contest against the Kuwaitis, but they didn’t let up. They maintained a high level all through the three sets en route to securing a third straight win, capping their Pool D campaign in style.
Muhammad Yahya was the top scorer for the Pakistanis with 16 points, while Ajmal Junaid chipped in eight. Bandar Alahamad led the Kuwaitis with nine points, as the team suffered their third loss in as many outings.
