TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Volleyball has released its full 2024 schedule, announced on Wednesday.
Head coach Charita Stubbs is returning four starters from last season, highlighted by Jaelyn Hodge who is returning for her fifth year and junior Jordan Wilson. Arizona is also returning junior setter Ana Heath and senior middle blocker Alayna Johnson. The Cats welcome the nation’s seventh-ranked recruiting class featuring the No. 1 recruit, Carlie Cisneros, and welcomed transfers Kiari Robey and Amanda DeWitt.
Coach Stubbs and the Cats will host the Cactus Classic on Aug. 30-Sept. 1 at home in McKale Center to open the 2024 season. Arizona will welcome Boise State, VCU, and Tennessee State for opening weekend. The Wildcats will then head to Alabama State (Sept. 5-7) and New Mexico State (Sept. 13-14) for two away tournaments before returning home to host the Wildcat Classic on Sept. 19-21. Arizona will face North Dakota State and Southern Utah during the final home tournament.
Arizona will kick off Big 12 play on the road at Baylor on Sept. 25 followed by a road match at TCU on Sept. 27. The Wildcats will host BYU for their Big 12 home-opener on Oct. 2 and will welcome Utah on Oct. 4.
Arizona will head to Tempe to face Arizona State on Oct. 9 before returning home to host three-straight home matches against Colorado (Oct. 16), Houston (Oct. 18), and ASU (Oct. 24). The next week, the Cats will head to Utah on Oct. 31 and BYU on Nov. 2.
The second half of the conference schedule will open at home with Kansas State on Nov. 6 and Kansas on Nov. 8, followed by a trip to Cincinnati and West Virginia on Nov. 14-17. Arizona will head to Colorado on Nov. 21 before returning home to host the final two home matches of the season with Iowa State on Nov. 23 and UCF on Nov. 27. The Wildcats will be at Texas Tech on Nov. 29 to close out the regular season.
