Volleyball Heads to Northern Colorado for Exhibition Match


TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Volleyball is set to take on Northern Colorado in an exhibition match on Saturday, August 24 at 12 p.m. MST in Greeley, Colorado.
 
The Wildcats are returning four starters from last season and are welcoming seven newcomers to the squad – five freshmen and two transfers. The incoming freshman class was ranked No. 7 in the nation by PrepVolleyball and was highlighted by the nation’s top recruit, Carlie Cisneros. Kiari Robey joins the team from Florida State and Amanda DeWitt comes to Arizona from South Florida.
 
The exhibition on Saturday will be the first meeting between the Cats and the Bears since 2006.
 
Arizona’s season officially begins at the Cactus Classic next Friday, August 30 against Boise State in McKale Center. The Cats will face VCU on Saturday, August 31 before closing out the tournament against Tennessee State on Sunday, September 1.
