Nebraska’s 7-0 scoring run paired with six blocks in the third set gave the team a 2-1 match lead.
Setter Bergen Reilly incorporated her middles to give the Huskers a few more kills on the board. Though, they still trail Kentucky in total kills, 40-34.

Kentucky calls time in the third set after reaching 13 service errors compared to Nebraska’s five. The Wildcats trail Nebraska 10-6 to start out the set.

Not even a 23-23 score could scare Skinner. The Kentucky head coach issued and won his second challenge to give his team set point. That momentum carried the Wildcats to their first set win in tonight’s match.
Nebraska led by as many as five points in Set 2, and despite some Kentucky service errors, the Cats make it a 1-1 match.
Kentucky is now out-hutting the Huskers .244 to .197.

Kentucky head coach Craig Skinner challenged whether the ball fell in front of Nebraska libero Lexi Rodriguez. After laying out for a pancake dive, the challenge ruled in favor of Rodriguez and the Huskers after a replay was viewed.
Rodriguez has collected six digs total so far.
