MATCHES 4-6
Illinois volleyball hits the road for the Cyclone Invitational this weekend. The team battles Toledo on Friday and Iowa State on Saturday, with both matches airing on ESPN+ at 4 p.m. CT. The tournament finale against Wake Forest is scheduled for 12 p.m. on Sunday.
The 2024 campaign marks the 51st season of Illinois volleyball, with the Illini holding an overall record of 1,069-624-7 (.630). Chris Tamas enters his eighth season at the helm for the Orange and Blue, boasting a 134-81 (.623) mark.

Illinois volleyball continued its hot streak with a four-set victory over Illinois State at Huff Hall on Tuesday night. Averie Hernandez paced the Fighting Illini with 12 kills. Ashlyn Philpot recorded her first collegiate double-double, amassing 11 kills and 10 blocks. Raina Terry contributed 11 kills and four strikes from the service line. Brooke Mosher dished out 31 assists, while Christina Martinez Mundo logged 13 digs.
