Pool B

Japan’s NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki climbed to the top of Pool B after a sweep of the Philippines’ Monolith Sky Risers 3-0 (26-24, 25-13, 25-18). The Japan club’s prolific hitter Yoshino Sato bested all scorers with 18 points, followed by middle blocker Haruyo Shimamura, who scored 12 points. The Philippines’ Alyssa Jae Solomon likewise scored 12 points in the defeat.

Vietnam’s LPBank Ninh Binh took the second place in Pool B as confirmed via their 3-1 win (25-16, 25-16, 17-25, 25-19) over Iran’s Saipa Club. Captain Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen topped the scoring charts, amassing 27 points for the team’s second victory in the competition.
