UW only reached 10 blocks in six matches in 2023, but this year the Huskies have reached double digits in eight of 11 matches. Freshman Julia Hunt had five blocks and Emoni Bush had four, including consecutive rejections late in set three to help the Huskies close out the sweep.
Molly Wilson had the Husky offense in rhythm with 25 assists and nine digs. All three of UW’s pin hitters hit over .300. Bush had 11 kills and hit .310, Audra Wilmes had nine kills and hit .348, and Madi Endsley had eight kills and hit .318. Out of the middle, Hunt and Katy Wessels each provided six kills.
