KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – During a stretch where the team plays at home just twice during a 42-day span, Tennessee volleyball concludes a road-heavy stint this weekend with matches against the Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks.
The Big Orange (10-8, 3-5 SEC) opens play Friday versus Georgia (9-9, 3-5 SEC) in Stegeman Coliseum at 7:00 p.m. ET. Tennessee then takes on the Gamecocks (12-6, 3-4 SEC) in the Carolina Volleyball Center at 1 p.m. Sunday. Both matchups will be streamed on SEC Network+.
This marks the first of two meetings between UT and both the Bulldogs and South Carolina this year. Later in the month, both programs make a return visit to Knoxville. Last season, Tennessee bested Georgia in a 3-1 contest at home before dropping a tough 3-0 match on the road to the Gamecocks to end the regular season.
Entering the weekend, the Lady Vols look to bounce back from a 3-1 loss last Friday against the Florida Gators. Both the Bulldogs and Gamecocks are coming off wins.
Following this weekend, the Lady Vols host multiple teams at home. Next Friday, Tennessee will play LSU in Food City Center at 6:30 p.m., and the match will be streamed on SEC Network+.
