Catarina Cochran Signs With Women’s Volleyball

LAMONI – Head Women’s Volleyball Coach Stew McDole has announced the signing of Catrina Cochran from Medina Valley High School in Castroville, Texas.

Catarina is from LaCoste, Texas and will be joining the Yellowjackets next fall.  She is a 5’5 setter and defensive specialist.  In volleyball during her high school career, she has been named 1st Team All-District, a two-time Academic All-District selection, and has been a three-time Academic Excellence Award winner.

Outside of school, Cat has been heavily involved in club volleyball as well as student council.  While attending Graceland, she plans to major in Occupational Therapy.  She is the daughter of Louis and Lydia Cochran.

The Graceland University Athletic Department and the women’s volleyball program are excited to have Cat join the Yellowjackets for next year and are looking forward to watching her rise through the ranks in her collegiate career.
