As the first week of the Olympic Games draws to a spectacular close, the South Paris Arena 1 was once again lit up, not just by the volleyball matches but also by an impressive array of distinguished guests from around the world.

They were both greeted by three-time Olympian Vlad Grbić and presented with a souvenir replica volleyball. They were joined by IOC Member and former Pole Vaulter Sergii Bubka, whose caught up with the General Director of the FIVB, Fabio Azevedo at the set break.
