Alabama Heads to Athens for Sunday Matchup at Georgia


TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama volleyball (10-16, 0-15 SEC) heads to Athens, Ga., this weekend to face Georgia (15-11, 6-8 SEC) on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. CT in Stegeman Coliseum.

Scouting Alabama

  • Alabama plays one match this weekend, traveling to Athens, Ga., to face Georgia on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. CT
  • Sunday’s contest is the first and only meeting between the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs this season, with the remaining contests vs. Auburn and Texas A&M as rematches of earlier matches this year

  • With three matches remaining this season, senior Kendyl Reaugh has 965 kills, 35 shy of the 1,000th of her career, while fellow senior Alyiah Wells sits 42 shy at 958
  • With 268 kills this year, she is 39 shy of tying her single-season high of 307 from last season
  • Wells’ 231 kills is also the second-highest season total of her career, only trailing her 291 from last year
