TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama volleyball placed a program-best four student-athletes on the 2022-23 Academic All-District Volleyball team, selected by College Sports Communicators, as Abby Marjama, Kendyl Reaugh, Vic Schmer and Alyiah Wells were named to the team Tuesday.
The four honorees are the most in program history, beating the previous record of three set in 1999 and 2000. The group brings Alabama’s all-time total to 26 and it is the first career accolade for all four student-athletes.
The four will now move onto the national ballot for the Academic All-America teams, which will be announced Dec. 21. Five Crimson Tide student-athletes have earned a combined seven Academic All-America accolades in program history, with Leah Lawrence as the last to do so in 2017.
