Ally Hickey Repeats as Molten GLVC Women’s Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced that Lewis women’s volleyball libero Ally Hickey (Granger, Ind./Penn) won the Molten GLVC Women’s Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts against the University of Indianapolis on Saturday (Oct. 26). This marks the second straight week that the graduate student received the award and her third overall. 

Hickey helped Lewis to a 3-0 sweep against Indianapolis on the defensive side of the ball as she recorded a game-high 22 digs (7.33 digs/set). The Granger, Indiana native also recorded five assists.

Lewis will be back in action Thursday, October 31 as the Flyers host Flagler College at Neil Carey Arena for Costume Night. First serve is set for 6 p.m. CT.
