Arizona Volleyball Inks Nation’s No. 7 Recruiting Class


TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Volleyball has signed the No. 7 recruiting class that includes the nation’s No. 1 recruit, Carlie Cisneros, the program announced on Wednesday. The class also includes Avery Scoggins and Adrianna Bridges.
 
“We are excited to be signing one of the top-ranked classes in the nation,” head coach Charita Stubbs said. “This class includes the nation’s best recruit in Carlie and will fill immediate needs for us. Carlie and Avery are proven winners and Adrianna will bring athleticism to the middle.”

  • Holds the records for kills in a single season and kills in a career at Liberty North

 
Carlie says: “I chose Arizona because I fell in love with the people and the coaching staff.  I also love that it’s a college town and the fans are very involved.
 
Coach Stubbs says: “We can’t wait to have Carlie join us on campus. She has an incredible knowledge of the game as a six-rotation outside hitter. She is a proven winner with her club and high school and has a calm demeanor on the court that will help balance our team.”

  • Earned all-state and all-region honors her junior year

  • Named the MVP at the 4A North Carolina State Championship in 2023

 
Avery says: “I chose the University of Arizona because of the beautiful campus and amazing facilities. It also has great athletics and academics.”
