LEXINGTON, Ky. — Johns Hopkins’ Natalie Aston repeated as a first-teamer on the 2021 American Volleyball Coaches Association’s 40th annual All-America teams to lead a group of six Centennial Conference players that were honored.
Aston, the two-time CC Player of the Year, becomes the first player in conference history to earn first team All-America accolades multiple times. The senior setter was one of three Blue Jays to land on the All-America squad, along with Eleni Panogopolous (2nd team) and Sydney Portale (3rd team). The trio raises the CC’s all-time total of 1st, 2nd and 3rd team All-America honorees to 13.
Three from the Centennial secured honorable mention awards – Gettysburg’s Zanze Kuba-McCoy, Dickinson’s Emma Lange, and Haverford’s Juliet Young.
