AVC CONDUCTS ITS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING AHEAD OF 25TH ELECTIVE AVC GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Bangkok, Thailand, August 27, 2024 – The AVC Executive Committee, led by AVC President Mrs Rita Subowo, met in a hybrid environment at The Grand Fourwings Convention Hotel Bangkok on Tuesday.

The meeting was held ahead of the AVC Board of Administration Meeting on Wednesday morning and the 25th AVC General Assembly set to be held on Thursday and Friday, providing an opportunity for the Executive Committee Members to discuss a number of key topics and prepare and provide information about the matters to be discussed at the Wednesday’s AVC BA Meeting as well as understand the rules of procedure of the 25th AVC General Assembly.

AVC President Mrs Rita Subowo from Indonesia chaired the Tuesday’s meeting, attended by AVC Senior Executive Vice President Mr Cai Yi from China, himself Executive Zonal Vice President representing Eastern Zone and AVC Treasurer.

 

AVC Executive Vice President Mr Mohamed Latheef from Maldives, Executive Zonal Vice Presidents Representing Oceania Zone Mr Hugh Graham from Cook Islands, Representing Southeastern Zone Mr Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai from Thailand, himself AVC Secretary General, and Representing Western Zone Mr Ali Ghanim Al-Kuwari from Qatar and Mr Craig Carracher, one of the AVC BA Members.

 

Two Female Members Mrs Fong Son Van Alice Oliver from Macao, China and Mrs Hila Asanuma from Palau attended the meeting on Zoom. Also in attendance were AVC General Manger Dr Rueangsak Siriphol and AVC Secretariat Director Ms Phenyada Fuengthanthip.

AVC President Mrs Rita delivered a brief opening remark, extending her sincere gratitudes to all Executive Members for dedication and hard work they put in every situation and asking everyone to stay focused and motivated to achieve more successes.

 

The meeting also discussed the procedure of the General Assembly to ensure all is set and make things clear all Executive Members understand the right steps to be taken in the Assembly

 

The AVC Board of Administration Meeting is set to be held on Wednesday morning from 9am local time at The Grand Fourwings Convention Hotel Bangkok, while the 25th AVC General Assembly is due to take place on Thursday and Friday, with all delegates from AVC Affiliated National Federations cordially invited to attend.
