SEATTLE – Washington Beach Volleyball Head Coach Derek Olson announced the addition of the first four members of the Huskies’ 2023-24 signing class today. The group includes three beach-only players in Julia Waugh, Zoey Henson, and Piper Stephenson, and dual-sport standout Kierstyn Barton, who signed with the Husky indoor team but has had a decorated junior beach career and plans to play both.
Henson comes from Southern California and Barton is from Arizona, but Waugh and Henson are coming all the way across the country, from South Carolina and Georgia, respectively, showing the sport’s broadening appeal and the progress Olson has made in establishing the Beach Dawgs nationally.
