Black & Gold Match Set for Tuesday at 6 p.m


COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Volleyball fans can catch their first glimpse of the 2022 Tigers in the annual Black & Gold match on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 6 p.m. inside the Hearnes Center.

Admission to Tuesday’s exhibition is free for all fans and no ticket is needed.

Mizzou will welcome five nine newcomers this fall. The incoming class of Tigers ranks as the No. 14-ranked class in the country which matches the 2010 as the best in program history. This class includes four student-athletes ranked in PrepVolleyball’s top 150 for the class of 2022. Ten Tigers return for the 2022 campaign, led by outside hitter outside hitter Anna Dixon, middle blocker Trista Strasser, outside hitter Kaylee Cox,  and defensive specialist Lauren Forbes all return as well.

Mizzou will open the regular season one week later on Friday, Aug. 26, against Northern Kentucky as part of the South Dakota Invitational.

TICKETS

Season tickets for Mizzou volleyball begin at just $30 and are on sale now at www.MUTigers.com/VBTix. Single-match tickets are also on-sale for each of the Tigers’ 12 home games at $8 for adults and $6 for youth/senior.
