PITTBURGH – Rising sophomore Blaire Bayless earned gold at the NORCECA U21 Continental Championship with USA Volleyball in Toronto, Canada on Sunday. This summer marks back-to-back years she has placed first with USA Volleyball after winning the U19 Pan American Cup Championship in 2023.
Bayless contributed four kills, three aces and one block in the 3-0 victory against Suriname (25-10, 25-5, 25-9) and four digs in a sweep over Puerto Rico (25-10, 25-17, 25-15). She notched three kills, a block and an ace in the championship match against Puerto Rico (25-12, 25-16, 25-16).
