This win marks their eighth appearance in the championship title match, after previously winning the first match of the semifinal series 3-2 and ultimately winning the series 2-0.
Sada Cruzeiro will now face off against Itambé Minas in the finals, who eliminated Suzano in their two-game semifinal. The Grand Final will be held as a single game at Arena Farma Conde in São José dos Campos.
