JACKSON, Mich. – For the fifth time in the 2022 season, TU senior, Kacy Bragg, was named the Crossroads League Setter of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Bragg, the 2021 Crossroads League Setter of the Year, now boasts a total 12 weekly awards in her illustrious career.

No. 13 Taylor (20-5, 9-2 CL) played just one match this past week, a match in her Bragg sung her latest award-winning performance to the tune of 13.67 assists-per-set throughout TU’s three-set sweep of Spring Arbor (10-13, 1-10 CL).

The native of Warsaw, Indiana, came out strong with 11 assists in TU’s 25-9 opening-set win over Spring Arbor, though she went on to post an absurd 15 more assists in each of Taylor’s final two set wins. Bragg also tallied two blocks, a pair of kills, and five digs to go along with her stellar assist numbers.

Bragg has now scored 40-or-more assists in 14 of Taylor’s 25 matches thus far in 2022 and leads the Crossroads League with a season-average of 11.04 assists-per-set. That mark is good enough for fifth in the entire nation, while Bragg leads the NAIA with a total of 1,016 assists on the season.

With Bragg’s latest award in stow, Taylor volleyball now holds 10 of Taylor’s 16 total weekly awards received thus far in the 2022-2023 athletic year.

No. 13 Taylor (20-5, 9-2 CL) returns to the court on Wednesday, October 12, when Bragg and the Trojans travel to Winona Lake, Indiana, to play Grace (8-14, 3-8 CL) at 7:00 pm.
