LOS ANGELES – No. 2 UCLA recorded 11 aces en route to a 25-17, 25-22, 25-20 win over No. 6 Stanford, Saturday, at Pauley Pavilion.
Stanford (9-11, 2-6 MPSF) hit .291 for the match, and had 27 kills, three aces and 2.5 blocks. UCLA (18-4, 7-1 MPSF) registered a .463 attack percentage as a team – the second-highest by a Cardinal opponent this season.
Outside hitter Will Rottman had a team-high eight kills and two digs, while outside hitter Kevin Lamp chipped in with four kills, three digs, two aces and a block.

Setter Nathan Lietzke tallied 23 assists, three digs, two kills and a block. Libero Luke Turner collected two assists and a dig.

Middle blocker Ethan Hill had four kills on .500 hitting and two blocks. Nathaniel Gates turned in three kills, a dig and an ace. Sophomore Moses Wagner started the match at opposite, posting three kills and a dig in two sets played. Theo Snoey replaced Wagner in the third set, finishing with three kills on three swings and a block.
