STANFORD, Calif. – Kendall Kipp and Elia Rubin combined for 37 kills to lead No. 3 Stanford to a 25-8, 25-14, 25-23 win over Arizona, Sunday, at Maples Pavilion.
As a team, Stanford (11-2, 4-0 Pac-12) hit a season-high .420 while holding Arizona (5-10, 0-4 Pac-12) to a .202 clip. The Cardinal out dug the Wildcats, 46-34, and finished with nine aces.
Kipp finished with a match-high 20 kills on .425 hitting, and tied the Stanford single match record in the rally-scoring era with eight aces.

Rubin hit a career-best .593 while matching her season-high with 17 kills on 27 swings with just one error. The sophomore also tied for a match-high 15 digs for her fifth double-double of the season.
Junior setter Kami Miner controlled the offense with 35 assists and totaled eight digs and three kills. Senior libero Elena Oglivie racked up 15 digs, including nine in the first set, and matched her season-high with six assists.

Middle blocker McKenna Vicini posted four blocks and three kills, while outside hitter Caitie Baird chipped in with six digs, three kills, a block, an assist and Stanford’s other ace.
