MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin volleyball standout and alum Lauren Carlini has signed with the League One Volleyball (LOVB) for the league’s inaugural season, announced Monday afternoon by LOVB.
Carlini is no stranger to professional competition as she was a member of Savino Del Bene (2017-18), Igor Gorgonzola Volley (2018-19), Dinamo Moscow (2019-22), Turk Hava Hollari Spor Kulubu, and Volleyball Casalmaggiore (2022-23). The Badger standout was also a member of the bronze medal winning U.S. National Team at the 2016 Pan American Cup, and is currently training with Team USA.
The LOVB is the first professional volleyball league in the U.S. and will have four professional teams. Today they announced that Salt Lake, Utah will be added as its fourth location. In addition to Utah, the other professional teams will call home to Houston, Atlanta and here at Madison.
