CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Volleyball’s Crystal Childs signed with a Kosovo professional team, Klubi Volejbollit Ferizaj (KVF Ferizaj). The club is located in Ferizaj, Kosovo. An outside hitter/defensive specialist, Childs joins Klubi Volejbollit Ferizaj after completing her collegiate career at Clemson in 2021. KVF Ferizaj opens the season on February 17 and will be playing in the Kosovo National Cup.
“I am excited to be here, but even more excited to see my fellow Tigers starting their pro journies as well,” said Childs.
Childs played in 165 sets during her career as a Tiger. She finished with 230 digs (1.39 per set) and clocked 86 kills, 28 assists, 21 blocks and 16 aces. Her junior campaign saw her notching 112 digs and 16 assists on the season with nine aces. During her freshman season in 2018, the Alpharetta, Ga., native tallied a career-high 66 points after clocking 55 kills and 14 blocks, all assisted, to average 2.00 points per set. After graduating from Clemson, she used her COVID-year of eligibility to play at Radford.
