ELMIRA, NY – Coming off its first loss of the season, Elmira College responded with a 3-0 win over the Hilbert Hawks on Wednesday evening. Max Cohen ’25 became the fourth member of the men’s volleyball program to reach 2,000 career assists, with 34 in the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Jordan Peiser ’24 led all players in the match with 20 kills. Luke Jata ’27 chipped in with seven kills of his own.
Peiser, Jata, and Caden Sims ’28 each finished with a pair of service aces.
Paten Buckwalter ’28 led the Soaring Eagles with two blocks. Buckwalter also had a team-high seven digs.
The Soaring Eagles hit an impressive .425 hitting percentage in the winning effort. Jata led the way with a .545, Peiser was second at .514, and Dylan Vargas ’27 finished at .400.
