MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin volleyball’s CC Crawford was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the week, as announced by the Big Ten Conference Monday afternoon. The Badgers have now claimed B1G Defensive Players of the Week in back-to-back weeks.

The Kansas native helped Wisconsin to a 2-0 week, tallying 12 total blocks, including seven against Illinois. Crawford averaged 2.00 blocks per set, and added five digs. The six-foot-three middle blocker also secured 19.5 points (3.25/set) over the course of the two matches.

Wisconsin will host a pair of Big Ten matches this weekend beginning with Rutgers on Oct. 13 at 7 p.m., followed by Maryland on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both matches can be streamed on B1G+.
