DURHAM – The Duke volleyball team (3-2) welcomes Elon to Cameron Indoor Stadium Tuesday. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m., on ACCNX.
LAST TIME OUT
Duke went 2-0 in its opening weekend at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Blue Devils defeated Loyola Maryland (3-1) and West Virginia (3-2) — the win over the Greyhounds was the 1,000th win in program history.
A CLOSER LOOK AT THE SERIES
Duke leads the all-time series 13-7 and has won 10 consecutive.
SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
Elon enters Tuesday’s contest 1-5 overall and most recently dropped a 3-0 decision at Wofford. Offensively, the Phoenix are led by Cameron Lanier with 52 kills while Sydney Love has 38. Elon utilizes two setters — Jessica Parker and Ericka Link — who own 103 and 60 dimes, respectively. Elon features eight different players with 20 or more digs led by Jordan Gower with 94. As a team, Elon is hitting just .107 percent this fall.
